academic publishing
Academic publishing is a system of publishing used by academics, scholars, and researchers share and publish their research findings so that they are available to the wider audience. It includes traditional paper-based formats as well as electronic form. Such publications are accepted as contributions of knowledge or research (e.g., journal article, book, thesis, course lectures, online resources, …).
